Welcome to the memorial page for

Bonnie Lynn (Scarf) Tailleur

August 13, 1957 ~ November 29, 2017 (age 60) 60 Years Old

On Wednesday, November 29th, 2017 Bonnie Lynn Tailleur passed away suddenly.  She is survived by the loves of her life: her partner Dale E. Albers, her son Ryon Tailleur, her two daughters Jillian Tailleur and Doris Elveen Albers and grandson Leon Tailleur.  She was predeceased by her parents Ken and Elveen Scarf.

Bonnie was the fifth of nine children born to Ken and Elveen, who raised her on their farm near Garrick, SK.  She attended grade school in Choice Land, SK until moving to Saskatoon to attend a technical college where she studied to become a machinist.  From there Bonnie made a move to Alberta where she lived for a number of years before moving back to Saskatoon.  It was in Saskatoon that she met Dale, they eventually moved west to Hughenden, AB.  In 2009 they moved again, this time to the farm owned by Dale’s family to help care for his parents, and it was here where she passed away at home.

Bonnie absolutely loved her job at Sean’s No-Frill’s in Stettler; her co-workers and customers brought joy and laughter, many waiting in the longer till-line just to have her help them.

Bonnie cared for her family fiercely; they were the love of her life.  Bonnie was always ready for a good laugh and loved to tease.  She will be missed deeply by those closest to her.

Donations in her name can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

You can shed tears that she is gone

Or you can smile because she has lived.

You can close your eyes and pray that she will come back

Or you can open your eyes and see all she has left

Your heart can be empty because you can’t see her

Or you can be full of the love that you shared

You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday

Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday

You can remember her and only that she is gone

Or you can cherish her memory and let it live on

You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back

Or you can do what she would want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
