Carolyn Elizabeth (Kovach) Hofstra

Carolyn Elizabeth Hofstra passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 10, 2016 at the age of 46 years.  This was unexpected and far to soon for everyone.  

Carolyn was a devoted wife, mother, sister and friend who was full of laughter and love and always the first one to help out anywhere that was needed.  People who knew her, knew she was kindhearted, strong willed and a pillar for her family and friends.  Carolyn lived her life to the fullest, she knew what she wanted and never waited for anyone to go get it.  Family was very important to Carolyn and she could often be found surrounded by family and friends cheering her children at a sporting event or relaxing around a campfire.   Carolyn’s zest for life touched everyone who knew her, and she will be missed dearly by all her friends and family.

Carolyn is survived by her loving husband, John Hofstra, her three children Devon, Caley and Logan and numerous brothers and sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, neices and nephews. Carolyn was predeceased by her mother Mary Kovach and her father in law Max Hofstra.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday June 17th, 2016 at the Peter Lougheed Community Center at 11:00 am with Father Les Drewicki Celebrant.
