Welcome to the memorial page for

David Earl Morris

April 26, 1963 ~ September 21, 2016 (age 53) 53 Years Old

David Earl Morris was born April 26, 1963 and passed away suddenly of a severe heart attack on September 21, 2016.

Dave has left us better people for knowing him.

Dave will be forever loved and missed by the love of his life Susan Porter, his children Tylor Morris (Amy), Krystal Storey (Darren), Cylliena Morris and Susan's son Tyson, grandchildren Chase and Joelle Storey, parents Jim and Marilyn Morris, brother Russell Morris (Susan Stoddard), sisters Patty Challman (Kevin) and Jackie Morris, 4 Aunts, 2 Uncles, 11 nieces and nephews, 15 great nieces and nephews and an enormous circle of friends.

Dave was predeceased by his grandparents and 1 uncle.

At the time of Dave's passing, he worked for the County of Lacombe as a Grader Operator. Dave took great pride in his work but came to love the rain days which he spent with his grandchildren. PaPa had a strong bond with Chase, they enjoyed fixing and building things (that is how NaNa got her patio furniture put together). PaPa was just starting his relationship with Joelle as she loved the funny faces and noises including the snort.

Dave loved all things outdoors which he shared with his family and friends; whether it be a backyard fire, camping, fishing or quading. Dave had just found his love of the ocean with vacations to Belize and Nicaragua. He loved learning about other cultures, countries and embraced new found friends with as much vigor as he embraced each and every long friendship. Once you entered Dave's life there was no turning back.

Please join us in the celebration of Dave's life at 2:00pm on Saturday October 1, 2016, at the Clive Hall (Allison Avenue, Clive, AB) and please bring all your stories.
