Jim passed away February 8, 2016 after a short battle with leukemia.
Jim was born June 7, 1942 in the Province of Quebec to his parents Anatole and Lorenza and was one of 5 children. He was predeceased by his sister Helene, his brother Jean as well as his parents. Jim is survived by: his wife Dianne, brothers Noel (Francoise) and Marc; daughter Julie, granddaughter Josée; step-daughter and son-in-law Denise and Mike, grandsons Chris and Mitchell; step-son and daughter-in-law Doug and Renee, grandchildren Wyatt and Baylee; step-son Terry (and Wolf); step-parents Alvin and Peggy and step-brothers Brian (Diane), Dennis (Monica) and Garry.
Jim served with the Canadian Military Police and retired after 32 years as a Master Warrant Officer. His posts took him from shore to shore across Canada, to Germany for 4 years and for 2 tours in Cyprus. After retirement from the Military, Jim was employed in various security positions in New Brunswick and Alberta.
A remembrance of Jim’s life will be held at the Lacombe Royal Canadian Legion Hall on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lacombe Palliative Care Society or the Military Police Fund for Blind Children.
