Lillan Margaret Mercier

MERCIER, Lillian

July 25, 1928 – April 26, 2016

Lillian Margaret Mercier was called home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at the age of 87 years.

She was born in Kapuskasing, Ontario, on July 25, 1928 to Karl and Gina Petterson.

Lill is together again with her husband Joe Mercier, who passed away in 1999, her parents Karl and Gina Petterson, brothers Benjamin and Jack, sister Francis and grandson Dallas Sampert.

Lill will be lovingly remembered and survived by her 3 children: Raymond (Shirley) Sampert of Vernon; David (Robin) Sampert of Vernon; and Gina (Dave) Warren of Lacombe. She was also blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren who will miss her deeply.

Lill will continue to be remembered by her many friends in Lacombe; her coffee group, awesome neighbour Marlene Chykerda and card game friends.

Thank you to the staff at Royal Oak Manor for their continuing care and concern for Lill. To honour her wishes, no service will be held. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Diabetes Society.
