I am so very sorry to hear of Marks death. He stayed with us and we enjoyed his company. He bought back memories of our trip to Calgary many years ago.. I was so pleased he new how to ride a horse as his friend was a bit of a learner.
He went on the bus with the local boys to our race meeting. They were a bit late home but Mark really enjoyed his day.!!
Great memories of a fun boy and willing worker.

Mark stayed with my bosses for a start when he was in New Zealand helping out at our racing stable for two weeks. After taking a liking to him I offered him to come home and stay with my family after he was finished there. He was so fun and vibrant to have around. Always telling stories and joking. I brought him to the pub a few times and our and about. He come out riding with me on our farm and we also got him in the cart at work behind the race horses I'm sure he had a ball. I was hoping next year when I head over to the states and hopefully Canada that I would be able to see him and catch up again. If you email me back I have some photos you may like of him. I'm absolutely shocked and gutted about his passing and wish to share my deepest condolences. Kia kaha Mark.

It is with sadness that I have discovered tonight that Mark has passed away. I am in New Zealand and Mark worked on our farm as a woofer . It is nearly tailing time and a worker who worked with him asked after him. I feel for you and your family as we enjoyed our time with him.

Mark was the first person to sit and talk to me in class and would not stop until I responded to him. He was infectious and his smile took over everyone he was around. My condolences to his family and loved ones. Gonna miss you buddy.

We have known Mark through reffing for several years now. It was always a pleasure working with him as he always shared his witty thoughts and ideas regarding volleyball and reffing, among other things! He will be missed and his court always being on time will be missed as well (he took great pride in that!) Our sincerest condolences for your loss.

Sorry for your loss. I met Mark reffing and will never forget him. He taught me alot and shared his experiences as a mentor since I am a young ref and he started young too. His welcoming smile made me feel at home with Volleball Alberta. He will always be in my mind while I am on the court. Your family are in my prayers and thoughts.
