My belated though sincere condolences to the Kinley family.
Myron was a close friend in our Concordia College days. Despite one grade junior, he helped me on my English essays, showed me how to toboggan on a piece of cardboard, and drove me around countryside in his relative's sedan in a rainy night until the wipers stopped working!
We then went on our separate paths for university and work. Yet Myron looked me up in Hong Kong in the early 80's. He had to be pursuing his dreams as we all were at that age. We did not meet again.
Indeed I am most saddened by finding Myron's passing only now through Google search, while planning for a return visit to Edmonton since the school days. He shall always be remembered in my Canadian days and our school yearbook.

To Marigold, Carillon and Trever,
I have known Myron for a long time. First as a classmate in Berwyn School and later
at Concordia. He was a very smart guy that's for sure. I watched the change in him over the years as he struggled with mental illness. The heartbreak that must have been to Myron and to his family. His courage and determination to continue his life in spite of his challenges will always to me be an inspiration to me. I am glad to have known him. My condolences to you all.

I first met Myron when he was a student at Concordia and I was the youth pastor at Highlands Baptist church. We enjoyed bible studies together and then he lived with us for awhile. He had many friends who would come to our home as our visitors book would testify, many of whom came from other countries. We touched base on occasion in Berwyn and Winfield and at his parents acreage.
our sincere condolences to all the family

We were saddened to hear of Myron's passing. Many years ago Myron and I were roommates at Concordia. I was certainly a beneficiary of his intellect. On many occasion I was also party to one of those “intense conversations” you speak about. Myron and I were both passionate and unwavering in our attempts to sway the others opinion. We often failed and things got rather heated on more than one occasion. In reality I think we had a healthy respect for each other somewhat enjoyed the sport. A fond friendship was formed, so much so that I was honored to have Myron accept my invitation to be best man at our wedding. I will miss touching base with Myron and sincerely regret not making more effort to get together. Our condolences to the family.

Dear Marigold and families.... so very sorry about Myron. I have fond memories of him and was one of the people that he dropped in on- although many years ago now. He was a wonderful & good-hearted man.
