Robin Justin Messinger

Robin's heart was too big for this world, in the early morning hours of Friday, February 17th, he started his journey to a place of love and peace. His aura and energy was out of this world. His sincere smile would light up anyone's soul, joy and laughter was inevitable when he was present. His friendship and generosity was genuine, as Robin was a man of his word, if you needed him he was there. To all the girls he loved, every compliment and every I love you was spoken with truth in that moment. He not only loved his friends, but he also loved their family. His life was a whirlwind, as there was never a dull moment when Robin was around. We are sure that most friends have a thrilling story to tell. A day out with Robin would always include an adventure. He was immeasurably loved from the moment he was born and beyond his passing. For all those who wonder what happened, his very enlarged heart was stopped by cardiac arrest. It is no secret that Robin's choices lead to changes in his health and ultimately his life. We encourage everyone to think very hard about themselves and let Robin's passing not be in vain. For those of you struggling, take this as a sign and choose a different path, as Robin's opportunity for change was taken much too soon. We sincerely thank you for sharing our sorrow. Losing a child, sibling, friend or lover is a burden no one can carry alone. From time to time your favourite memory of Robin will bring a smile to you, we will all cherish these moments forever. 

A Traditional Catholic Service for Family and closest friends only will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church (9510 101 Avenue North East, Edmonton). Please respect our families wishes during this difficult time. Cremation has taken place.
