Veronica Willington

Veronica Willington, age 52, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, February 17th, 2018.

Veronica is survived by her spouse, Blair Marshall; her stepdaughter, Carla Pittman (Greg); and their two grandchildren; her siblings, Ross Willington (Judy), Janice Macdonald, Lorea Willington (Rodney Schwartz) and Robbin Huseby (Gerry).  Veronica too had numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews which meant the world to her.  She is also survived by three brothers-in-law, Jim, Keith, and Curtis (Rose) Marshall.

Veronica was born and raised in Lacombe, Alberta. She graduated from the Lacombe Composite High in 1984 with her beautician license. She dedicated most of her life as a hairdresser.

Veronica had a kind and generous soul. She loved life and her family and cherished her friends dearly.  Veronica was active in a variety of sports and had a competitive nature. She excelled in all sports and games that she participated in.

Veronica always had a positive attitude throughout her battle with cancer and encouraged others that were battling cancer.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday February 27, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Lacombe Memorial Centre, 5214 50 Ave. Lacombe, AB.
