Bill was a great neighbour and friend. He was willing to lend a hand or bit of advice if needed and was always watching out for the neighbourhood. He often took time out for a visit and we enjoyed his many stories about the past; especially about his adventures in his younger days. We were fortunate to have known him.

Bill was one of my dad's best friends when my dad was alive. They had so many stories and tales to tell us kids whenever they got together. Bill was often over to mom and dad's for holiday dinners and was always welcome any other time. I will miss his laugh and the stories he shared.
