Boyd

Robin Adair Boyd was born on January 11, 1952 in Shanuavon Saskatchewan and ascended from her body in her home on July 7, 2010. She will be dearly missed by her family and her mother Gwen as she joins her father, Walter, whom had passed on earlier this spring. She is also survived by her loving husband Gary, sons Jay, Jeff, James and daughter Janet, her grandchildren, Jordan, Kianna and Dexter as well as her siblings, Gail, Wayne, and Mary-Lou.

 

Robin grew up as a rancher’s daughter in the Cypress Hills of Saskatchewan. She loved horseback riding, oil painting and playing music. As an oilman’s wife she traveled to Alberta and raised 4 children. She owned a health food store in Hanna Alberta before moving to Lacombe in the early 1980’s, finally settling in Clive with her family where she spent her remaining years. She lived a quiet and compassionate life offering unconditional generosity and love to everyone she knew. Her loss will be deeply felt, leaving a void in all the lives she touched. For those that mourn her passing, mourn only briefly, for she surely resides with God now. We have all been truly blessed by her life.

 

Robin’s service will be held in Lacombe at Wilson’s Funeral Chapel, 6120 hwy 2A, Lacombe Alberta on Friday July 16, 2010 at 2:00 pm. Memorial donations can be made to the charity of your choice and condolences can be made through www.wilsonsfuneralchapel.ca .

Dear Gary,Jay,James ans Janet and family.
I am truly sorry to find out about robin passing. I was ur nanny in 1988. I last weekend moved back to lacombe. Tonight i opend the paper and saw that robin had passed.
