Mary Bennett was born on August 3, 1947, in Lacombe, Alberta, to Carl and Ava Glenn. She spent her early years attending Sargent School and later graduated Grade 12 from Clive High School. Mary lived a life closely connected to farm life and took great pride in it. She worked alongside her husband, Welland, raising purebred Hereford cattle. Greg was a man with a tough exterior, but for all those who knew him he was gentle, honest, loyal, kind-hearted and dedicated to loving and protecting those closest to him. He was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma in 2021, and faced this journey with courage and bravery.
