WILSON, Albert “Bert”

July 28, 1935 – March 12, 2019

Mr. Albert “Bert” Wilson of Lacombe passed away peacefully at the Lacombe Care Centre on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the age of 83 years. He is lovingly remembered by his children; Russell (Pam) Wilson, Barbara (Dave) Perkins, Allan (Eileen) Wilson, Steve (Xam) Wilson; his grandchildren; Jayme (Brooke), Michelle, Katrina (Jason), Christopher (Alex), Bryanna (Mark),  Bailey (Joey), Bradan, Francis; his great grandchildren, Shelby, Emerley, Maximus, Jonah and Jorja.  He is also survived by his brothers,  Roy (Bev) Wilson, Dan Wilson, Martin (Tilly) Wilson, Robert (Kim) Wilson; his sisters Pearl Hug and Jean Koss.  Bert was predeceased by his wife Rose (nee Corbett) Wilson, his parents Dan and Vera Lily Wilson; his sister, Vera Titmuss and his brother, John Wilson.

A Celebration of Bert’s Life will be held at Wilson’s Funeral Chapel, 6120 Highway 2A, Lacombe, Alberta on Monday, March 18, 2019 at 1:00 p.m., followed by the Inurnment in the Fairview Cemetery.

The family wishes to thank Dr.  Sveen and the nursing staff at the Lacombe Palliative Care, Lacombe Hospital for their care and compassion for Bert.
