Alma Marie Kamlah (nee Loyek)

September 25, 1930 - July 25, 2019 

It is with deep sadness that we mourn the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother Alma Marie Kamlah of Lacombe on July 25, 2019 at the age of 88 years.  Alma was predeceased by her husband Gordon of 51 years; her parents Charlie and Ida Loyek; her brothers Henry, Fred, and Harold Loyek; and her granddaughter Sharleen Woren.  She is survived by her two daughters:  Gwen Woren and Brenda Jardine; and her grandchildren: Kyle Twa (Louanne), Bernie and Brad Woren, and Dalan and Jackie (Ian) Jardine; one great grandson Justice Twa; and numerous nephews, nieces, and others.  Her strength, courage, and selfless nature were an inspiration to everyone who knew her.

A Public Visitation will take place on Friday, August 2nd, 2019, at Wilson's Funeral Chapel, 6120 Hwy 2A, from 6;00 PM - 7:00 PM

As per her wishes, a private service will be held at the Fairview Cemetery and a Public Celebration of her life will be held on August 6, 2019 at 2 PM at the Lacombe Legion, 5138 – 49 Street.

Memorial donations can be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 111 West Campus Place NW, Calgary, T3B 2R6; or your choice.
