There are so many memories I have from my childhood of Barbara. As I was growing up Barbara was a neighbour and friend. She always brightened my day.

To the Walters Family,
My memories of your mother are all happy ones. Her many talents, especially her artistic ones, were delightful. I know from others that she was greatly appreciated by staff and students at Satinwood School. She always made me feel appreciated as a teacher of her children.
Leslie and Bill join me in our expression of sympathy.

Barb was an amazing lady dedicated to her family, the school, the community and of course the students at Satinwood school. She inspired the love of books and reading in the students. She taught the students about their heritage and did many projects with the students toward that end. Certainly my own daughters spoke of Mrs. Walters often as an important figure in their education at Satinwood School. She was also efficient and organized in her role as secretary and would be found outside the office helping in classrooms , and school activities such as track meets and Christmas concerts etc. Barb was one of those people that made the workplace better by her presence. She was respected and loved by students and staff alike. Our sympathy goes out to the family. I hope it comforts you to know she was appreciated and loved by so many and she will always hold a special place in our memories. Pat Denis
