Cornelius 'Cor' Sidney deBoon

Cor deBoon passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on April 9, 2018 after his battle with cancer.  He was predeceased by his Dad, Arie deBoon.  Cor was a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather.  His wife, Connie, and three grown children, Heather (Marcel), Tyler and Ashley (David), plus granddaughter Audrey were important to him.  His Mom, brothers, In-laws, Nieces, and the Reitsma family will miss his presence.  Cor challenged others to be their best.  He encouraged many people to try new opportunities.  He supported many organizations in different ways.  Cor was an active member of the Woody Nook Christian Reformed Church.  Youth events and mission trips were great opportunities to live what he believed.  Many conversations started about his love of fast cars, both old and new.

A Funeral Service will be held at Woody Nook Christian Reformed Church, Woody Nook Road, Lacombe County, on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.  Memorial Donation may be made to Central Alberta Youth Unlimited at www.cayu.ca, Neighbourhood Life at www.wolfcreekchurch.ca, or Camp Homewood at www.camphomewood.com.
