Dan was a man by all definitions. Tough as nails and wiry like a coat hanger. I miss our handshakes where we would stare each other down with a smile while gripping as hard as we possibly could. Neither of us ever gave up and I'm damned proud of that even though I have quite a few pounds on him. You never had to worry if you had Dan Couper in your corner. Peace and love to his family and friends.

My deepest sympathy goes out to all who loved and cared for Dan. May memories of your special times together give you solace and ease your pain in the difficult days ahead. He was a good friend to Barry and I during the early years - one of those guys not easily forgotten. May God hold him lovingly in His arms throughout eternity. Until we meet again Dan... thank you for the laughter and friendship. Rest in peace my friend!
