Daniel Gene Rolfes passed away on July 16, 2017. He was raised in Eckville, AB but moved away to follow a career in the oil and gas industry and returned in later years.

Through out his journey Dan accumulated numerous experiences, exhilarating story's, unfiltered jokes and life long friendships. He had the privilege to do things on a regular basis that some never get to do and was a firm believer in the phrase "work hard, play hard".

 Dan was survived by his son Brad Rolfes, spouse Karen Spittka and family. Mother Rose Rolfes, brother Bernie, Bob and wife Karen, Rick, and two sisters Marie and Rosie. Cheryl Rolfes and daughters Teylor and Jordyn, along with Amanda, Shelly, Dana Rolfes and many other countless family and friends. Dan was predeceased by his father Tony, sister Laurie Ann and brother Darrell Rolfes.

 The family would like to invite you to Dan's celebration of life that will be held August 1st at 1:00pm at the Gibly Hall, Eckville AB. As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation in memory of Dan.
