McGONIGAL, Dorothy Jean

April 23, 1926 – September 24, 2017

Mrs. Dorothy Jean McGonigal (nee Dye) passed away in Lacombe, AB on September 24, 2017 at the age of 91years.  Dorothy is survived by son, Roger (Joan); daughter, Shona (Rob); son-in-law, Wilson; ten grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; sister, Betty; brother, Roger; sister-in-law, Patricia; numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. She was predeceased by husband, Eldon; son, Robert; granddaughter, Charlene; daughter, Linda; sisters, Edna, Ruby, Winnie, Gladys; and brother, Robert. 

A Funeral Service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4049-63 Avenue, Lacombe AB on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at the Alix Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.  Memorial donations in honour of Dorothy may be directed to the Lacombe Palliative Care Society, PO Box 5576, Lacombe AB T4L 1X2.
