Elizabeth Lillian (Langmuir) Hawkings

Elizabeth Lillian (nee Langmuir) Hawkings of Rimbey, Alberta, was born April 13, 1917 and passed away on October 23, 2017 at the age of 100 years. 

Lillian, daughter of Allan Kirkwood Langmuir and Daisy Thomasina Tegert, married Edgar Jesse Hawkings on April 26, 1938.  She is survived by her brother, Ed Langmuir; children, Dorothy Burchnall, Sandy (Joan) Hawkings, Daisy (Ken) Perry, Heather (Russ) Yard, Brian (Vicky) Hawkings, Kay (Bill) Brown, Michael (Charlene) Hawkings, Garry (Brenda) Hawkings, Penny (Denis) Tognet; 22 grandchildren and more than 40 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Edgar on April 17, 2000; two sons, Ferrand and Tim; son-in-law, Dale Burchnall; brothers, Allan, Alexander, Walter, Ivor, Bob and Tom; and sister, Bertha.

Mom's funeral will be held at the Church of the Nazarene 5214 - 51 Street, Rimbey, AB on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 2:00p.m. 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Rimbey Long Term Care or to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
