January 22, 1938 - September 9, 2019

Eric Davis, of Ponoka County AB, born in Port Hawkesbury NS, passed away peacefully Tuesday September 9, 2019 at the age of 81.

Eric was a compassionate man who dedicated his life to making the world a better place.  He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1957-1982, the Calgary Police from 1982-1996 and the Lacombe Police from 1996-1998. He was also a mentor to many young people as the Commanding Officer of the Forest Lawn RCAF Cadet Squadron.

Beloved husband of Bonnie Davis (nee Miners). Predeceased by his daughter Kim. Loving father of Shaun (Wendy) and Michelle (Jeff).  

Cherished Grandpa of Tanya (Nick), Stephen (Sabrina), Kalen and Aiden. Great Grandpa of Olivia.

Predeceased by his brother Allison. Survived by his sister Ardie (Bill), and brothers Ralph (Isabel), John, and Joey (Melisha). 

A Celebration of life will be held at St. Cyprian’s Anglican Church, 5005 C&E Tr. Lacombe, AB on Friday, September 20, 2019, at 1:00 p.m.
