Geraldine (Bennett) Williams

Mrs. Geraldine Williams of Mirror, Alberta passed away on November 18, 2018, just one week short of her ninety fifth birthday.  Born in Holland Landing, Ontario, to Bertha and George Bennett, she was the last born into a family of four boys. Thrilled with her arrival, her parents and brothers nicknamed her "Babe".  She was predeceased by her parents and four brothers Clarence, Norman, Elmer and Raymond.

Geraldine met her husband to be, Joseph, a corporal in the army, and moved west at the young age of 19.  Sadly missing her already are her 4 children, Mary Jo (David) Gerlach, Jack (Deborah) Williams, Fern (Michael) Decaire and Joe (Debbie) Williams.  Also mourning her loss are her grandchildren Allan (Jen), Gerri (Bob), Taylore, Bryce (Trisha), Joe, Jeremy (Courtney) and Ashley (Mike), as well as 6 great grandchildren, Shayla, Chandra, Nevaeh, Georgia, Aubrey, and Jacob, and great greats Dominic and Jace.  Also sadly wishing farewell, is her nephew Randy Bennett (Brenda) from Ontario. She was an accomplished musician and artist, loved nature, and was a person of strong, and fine character. Everyone who knew this sweet, charming lady, will remember her for her beautiful smile, and fun, adventurous spirit. Rest in peace Mom, You deserve it.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday November 24, at the Mirror Alliance Church, 5011- 50 Street, Mirror Alberta at 1:00 p.m.
