Mrs. Ivy Rose Simmons of Rimbey, Alberta passed away peacefully on April 11, 2018 at the age of 85 years. Ivy is survived by her loving children; Gail (Ernie) Jeschke, Dwayne (Sylvia) Simmons, Rick (Terry) Simmons, Darlene (Chris) Ashcroft, Terry (Debbie) Simmons and Margaret (Richard)Romney; 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.Ivy was predeceased by her loving husband Lawrence of 62 years in 2011 and by her daughter Tammy in 1994 and by all of her sisters and brothers.

A private family graveside service will take place in the Bradshaw Cemetery on Friday April 20, 2018 followed by a Celebration of Ivy’s Life at Wilson’s Funeral Chapel in Rimbey, Alberta at 2:00 PM with Reverend Deborah Laing officiating..

If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the S.T.A.R.S 1441 Aviation Park NE, P.O. Box 570 Calgary, Alberta T2E 8M7 or to a charity of one’s choice in lieu of flowers.
