HALE
JamesHale of Rimbey, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Center July 17, 2018 at the age of 88years.He was predeceased by three brothers (Bob, Bill, Charlie) and three sisters (Mary, Norma and Grace), he is survived by two sisters, Gladys and Clara.
Jim was born May 1st, 1930 in the town of Duchess Alberta. He moved to Crossfield in 1948 to farm with his brother Bill Hale. That is where he met Donna and they were married in 1954 at Crossfield Alberta.
Jim worked for General PetroleumRigs for a couple of years and then began work for Alberta Gas Trunk Line (AGTL) as a Pipeline Operator starting in Consort and moving to Alix, Lodgepole and finally to Rimbey in 1962.
Jim enjoyed being very active in the community including participating in the Lions Club, Rodeo Board and the Elk’s. After retirement from Nova (AGTL) Jim and Donna enjoyed traveling to Apache Junction Arizona for the winter months.
Jim will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by Donna, his wife of 64 years, and his four sons Jim (Diane) of Calgary, Ken (Lori) of Bluffton, Bruce (Penny) of Leduc, Gord (Janet) of Smoky Lake.Grandchildren Ben (Stacey), Jeremy, Chris, John, Skye, Michelle (Chris), Michael, Jolene, Jesse, Raelyn, three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
