Larry “Sam” Wayne PENROD

March 18, 1970 -  May 17, 2019

It is with great sadness that on May 17, 2019, Larry (Sam) Penrod, son, brother, uncle and great uncle passed away suddenly at the age of 49 years as the result of a motorcycle accident. Sam, the youngest of three sons of Leroy and Lois Penrod was born on March 18, 1970 in Lampman, Saskatchewan.

Sam loved to camp and spent many hours camping and fishing with his best friend Kathy. Sam also loved to go to the shooting range and was a bit of an adrenaline junkie!

Sam is survived by his mom and dad, Leroy and Lois Penrod. His brother Roscoe (Suzie), their children Morgan (Ryker), and Kenzie. His brother, Steven (Tracy), their children Kyle, Christopher (Jammie), Samantha (Trevor). His special friend Kathy Gatehouse and her children Dylan and Krystal.  Great nephews and nieces, Desmond and Danielle Penrod and Elaine and Glenna Winfield as well as numerous Uncles, Aunts and Cousins.

Sam loved his bike and enjoyed riding with his dad and brothers, and he will be sadly missed by the multitude of friends which he had in the riding community.

A Celebration of Sam’s Life will be held at the Pentecostal Church, Lacombe, Alberta on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.
