Lillian Isabelle Fair

Lillian Isabelle Fair passed away peacefully in Red Deer Hospice with her family by her side November 6, 2017. Lillian was born to Edna and John Camps in High River, Alberta. The youngest of four children, they moved to Gleichen, Alberta where she spent her childhood and later married her first husband at the age of sixteen. Lily had three daughters, Wendy Percell, Patrica Dumbrell, and Cindy Holmes. Feeding her adventurous side Lily moved north to the Yukon where she lived and worked for four years. Moving back down south to Calgary she met her second Husband David Fair. Having two sons in Calgary Tim and Todd Fair. The Fairs moved their way to Alix, Alberta where Lily had her third son Tracy Fair. Lily and Dave moved a couple more times after that but always ended up back at the Farm in Alix. Granny touched a lot of people’s hearts and she was loved by so many.

Lillian was predeceased by her parents, her sister Iris Hudson, her brother Don Camps, and their eldest sister May Smith. Lily is survived by her loving husband David, her three daughters (and spouses) Wendy & Spud Purcell, Patricia Dumbrell, and Cindy & Grant Holmes; Along with her three sons (and spouses) Tim & Laurie Fair, Todd Fair, Tracy and Darlene Fair. Granny is remembered by all her many grandchildren, family and friends. Although Lil is gone from this world she will forever be in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, November 13, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Wilson's Funeral Chapel & Crematorium (6120 Hwy 2A, Lacombe) with interment to follow at the Lacombe Fairview Cemetery.
