Dear Sheryl and Family, Our sincere condolences for the loss of Ray, a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. Although we did not have the opportunity to know Ray well, it was an honour to have met him. We wish you all, all the best and know that you are all his wonderful legacy and he will be in your hearts and minds forever and never forgotten. May peace and solace comfort all of you, for you too have struggled along with him through his illness. Love Nila and Alex

Ray was such an incredible kind person, a friend, a mentor. I admired his honesty kindness and patience each and every day I had the opportunity to know him. Ray personally made time for me passing along his wealth of knowledge, so I able to be better at my job at Nova Chemicals over a period of 15-20 years. It is with great sadness I cannot be there to celebrate his life with Sheryl and family. Ray will truly be missed.

Sheryl, I'm sorry to hear of Ray's passing. I enjoyed working with Ray (via phone from NOVA, Corunna, ON). I made the trip to Alberta a couple of times so I did actually meet Ray in person a couple of times. He was a wonderful person and I'm glad I had the opportunity to meet him and work with him. I agree with Ray. Dessert first works for me!

I worked with Ray in bldg 21 for about 5 years back in the early 90's. He iwas always very cheerful, kind hearted , good spirits and encouraging words for me. I saw him after I left Nova at different events over the years and loved to catch up. It's been several years now that I had seen him or talked to him. I have and will always have fond memories of Ray. To Cheryl and his children, I hope you may find peace in knowing that your husband and father was very respected and loved. He was a big part of my life while I was at Nova. With love, Ellen

To all the family. Ray will always be fondly remembered. We don't ever remember a frown, an angry word or a face without a smile. Ray helped Herb get his job at Nova. He always had a thought for the employees in the rail yard not the job. We both remembered the "tea party" that changed Mrs. Spences busing rules. We may be miles away but our thoughts and prayers are with you. Stay strong.

Thank you so much Herb and Laura! We do go back a long way! And dear Mrs. Spence is gone now but I am sure she too is smiling down about our kids antics! Great to see Herb and Marnie at the celebration. Thanks for the beautiful flower arrangement.
