Ryan Gregory Pearce 

July 20th, 1983 - July 27th, 2019

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness, we the family announce Ryan’s passing with his loving family by his side. He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, nephew and friend to many.

Ryan’s strength and zest for life was admired by many. Ryan’s life was dedicated to making the lives of everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him better through his passion and talents in music and enthusiasm for his favorite hockey team the Detroit Red Wings.

He leaves to mourn with many fond memories his parents Gregg and Loretta (Keeping) Pearce of Lacombe, Alberta, his precious boys who were the light of his life Michael and Alexander, sister Natasha (Tim) of Nova Scotia, his companion Lisa and the mother of his children Merrissa all of Alberta. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and a large circle of friends.

Predeceased by his paternal grandparents Maggie and Ray Pearce and maternal grandparents Gordon and Elsie Keeping

Many thanks to the palliative care unit at Red Deer Regional hospital, Dr. McCall and the amazing staff for your kindness, compassion and excellent care.

Ryans remains are entrusted to Wilson's Funeral Home in Lacombe Alberta. A celebration of life will be held July 30, 2019 at 2 PM at Wilson’s Funeral Chapel, 6120 Highway 2A Lacombe, AB T4L 2G5. Officiated by Larry Bridger. Internment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Woodland Drive, Lacombe

A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says “grieve not for me”. Remember the best times, the laughter, the songs, the good life I lived while I was still strong. Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remembering how  truly I was blessed. Continue traditions no matter how small. Go on with your life don’t worry about falls. I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin. Until the day comes we are together again. Author unknown
