Stanley Jones Obituary

Mr. Stanley Jones of Lacombe AB passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018 at the age of 91 years.

Stan was born in Burnaby B.C. He met the love of his life roller skating in Victoria, where they married October 22,1949. This led to 68 years of marriage and 3 sons Earle, Les, and Ross.

Stan was a wonderful father, he was involved in boys youth, one of the first Presidents of Hampton little league, as well as a Coach there and Gorge soccer.

After retirement from over 50 years at Clark & Pattison, Stan and Gwen moved to the Parries to be closer to family.

His love of bowling led to 76 years of participation. He was a member of the IOF foresters for almost 50 years and ran the Victoria bowling league for 43 years.

Stan leaves to mourn his sons Les (Debbie), Ross (Noelle), Daughter in-law Jean, 4 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and many, many friends. Stan is predeceased by his wife Gwen, and Son Earle.

As per Stan’s request no service’s will be held.
