Bill and I worked together in Provost Alberta, I was a young Mountie in need of the guidance of a very wise auxiliary Constable who knew all the back roads and all the troublemakers out that way. Bill did not disappoint, he pointed me in the right direction 100% of the time. Often we would keep him out late and Carol would wonder where we were but he always brought us back safely! Bill was a sweet gentle man with a heart that always led him to helping others, he did that without fail...Peace be with you Bill!

Carol, our hearts go out to you and your family. We truly understand how hard it is to loose someone durning the holidays. We have learned to remember all the traditions they loved and to enjoy the amazing memories they have given us. We will call you after Christmas to arrange a time to come out for a visit. Very sorry to hear of your loss Carol. My condolences to you and your family. This brought back many fond memories of growing up across the alleyway as kids in Provost.

So sorry for your loss Carol and family. I enjoyed visits for lunch, teasing him on how much he ate..."just one more bite" he would say...and take 5!!! He will be greatly missed...❤️

I am so very sorry for your loss. Although I only have met Bill and Carol a few times in my life, I have heard many stories through my friendship with Sherri. He was a wonderful dad, father-in-law and Gido. His love and spirit will continue to shine through my dear friends: Sherri, Ed and Brelan.

My heart breaks for your family as you say goodbye so suddenly to such a beloved man. I know how much he meant to everyone who’s life he touched; most especially his family. I feel so lucky to have known him; and to have been a small part of your family along the way. If ever there was a man who loved his family and the simple things in life, it was Bill. A man who always had time to chat and who’s smile and laughter was welcoming to all. I know the wonderful memories of him will live always in the hearts of his family and friends. He leaves behind an amazing legacy and I hope the memories of your husband, Dad, Gido, friend, carry you through your deep time of grief at his loss. Know that he will always live on in your hearts, and that your grief on some level, is shared by many who love you and who loved him.
