Ashley Jane Bos

Ashley Jane Bos was born June 3rd, 1990 in Lacombe AB. A new little sister for Joe Bos and a precious little girl for Bruce Bos and Mary (Bos) Bennett. A fun loving, happy, spoiled, little girl with an infectious laugh, you couldn’t help but call her princess. Ashley grew up in Lacombe surrounded by family and many close friends. She had friends in different groups and maintained those friendships into her adult years. She was very charismatic. As an adolescent she played. She also enjoyed quadding, camping and anything outdoorsy. Her first job was working at Tim Hortons where she provided the City of Lacombe and surrounding areas with the distribution of food and coffee. She soon realized that it was not her calling and made her way up to Lac La Biche where she spent the next 9 years in the oilfield. There wasn’t a big machine that she couldn’t run and she loved it. The bigger the better. She wasn’t afraid of hard work. She wasn’t afraid of much. Ashley never failed to be honest when she had an opinion. She had a love for animals, especially her kitties. The year before she got sick, she took an entire year off and played hard. She made her way to BC and started to settle down into life. That was until she got sick. She spent the next three years fighting like a Bos with family and friends supporting her through thick and thin. 

She spent her last days in Calgary fighting until the end with her dad and Susie lovingly by her side. Ashley is predeceased by her Grammy Bos. Ashley is remembered by her dad Bruce Bos and Susie Georget along with Susies children and grandkids, Her brother Joey aka “broseph” Bos, and countless aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. You all made a tremendous impact on Ashley’s life and we are so grateful to every single one of you for being here.

A Celebration of Life Come and Go Lunch will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 2:00-5:00 pm at the Lincoln Hall, Lacombe County.
