Ashley Dawn Lawson

It is with great sadness, the family of Ashley Dawn Lawson, wishes to announce her sudden and unexpected passing in Calgary, Alberta on July 28, 2025 at the young ae of 37 years.

Ashley was born April 12, 1988 in Rimbey, Alberta to Kevin and Catherine Lawson. She completed her whole schooling in Rimbey and graduated in 2006. She welcomed her first son, Aiden in April 2005. A Couple of years later she welcomed her daughter Braylin in October 2007 and then welcomed her second son Macen in April 2009. In her spare time, she loved to draw and hang out with her family and friends. Ashley had a kind soul and was more than willing to help others when needed even when she didn’t have much herself. She loved all her nieces, nephews, cousins, her extended family and especially her children, which she expressed quite often. In 2007 she moved to Drumheller then returned to Rimbey in August of 2008. A few years later she moved to Lacombe and stayed there for a while. From there she moved to Calgary until her passing.

Ashley is predeceased by her maternal grandparents; Thomas and Joan Fenwick. Her Paternal Grandfather; James Richard Lawson, and niece, Arie Kaitlyn Mackenzie Lawson.

Ashley is survived by her parents; Kevin and Catherine Lawson of Rimbey. Her three children; Aiden Lawson of Rimbey, Braylin Lawson of Rimbey, and Macen Lawson of Rimbey. Her three brothers; Andres Alvarez of Blackfalds, Peter Lawson of Rimbey and Adam Lawson of Rimbey. Her paternal grandmother, Norma Jean Lawson of New Brunswick. As well as Uncles, Aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life held on Tuesday August 26, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Peter Lawson's Farm. For directions to the farm please call Catherine at 403-783-1670.
