It is with great sadness that the family of Benjamin Edward Thompson wish to announce his passing in Lacombe at the age of 47.
Ben is survived by his mother, Alison, five daughters and two grandchildren, Jonnel (Darcy, Elijah ), Sierra (Carson, Letty), Malaina, Madison, Maisey as well as three brothers, David (Amanda), Steven (Melissa) Sean ( Erica ) many nieces and nephews, and Grandma Magwood and Grandpa Newberry.
Ben is predeceased by his father Dale Thompson.
Ben loved to camp, fish and spend time with his family. As a child he was involved with Boy Scouts and Air Cadets. He played hockey and softball. He loved to ride quads, camp, fish and feel free in the wilderness with his family.
A private family funeral will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lacombe, with Pastor Clifford officiating.
