Bernice Reschny

RESCHNY, Bernice

1952 – 2023

Bernice was born April 22, 1952 to Joe and Katie Reschny.  She lived in Primate, Saskatchewan until 1965, when the family moved to Provost, Alberta, where she graduated from High School in 1970.  She moved to Red Deer, Alberta and took the MDN training at the then Alberta School Hospital.  She worked there through many changes and retired in 2008.  After many years of knowing each other in 1992  Pete Malone became a permanent part of her life for the next 31 years, the last 22 years in Lacombe. 

She passed away peacefully at the Lacombe Hospital and Care Centre on Monday, May 8th, 2023

Bernice is survived by Pete Malone, her four sisters, four brothers, nieces, nephews, Pete’s two brothers and one sister as well as many friends.

A Celebration of Bernice's Life will be held at the Lacombe Golf and Country Club, 6000 - 50th Avenue, Lacombe, Alberta on Saturday, October 7, 2023 between 4:00 and 8:00 p.m..  For further information or to RSVP please contact Peter Malone at 403-782-1091.
