Brian William McKilligan

1949 – 2022

Brian McKilligan of Rimbey, Alberta passed away in the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre on January 6, 2022, from complications due to covid. He was 72 years old. Brian will be greatly missed and cherished by his family: Sisters Judy (Harvey) Weigelt of Edmonton; Wendy Belt of Red Deer; Sue (Dan) McKay of Eagle Lake, Ontario; Kathy Hart of Ponoka; Walter Hart of Ponoka; Brother Jim (Karen) McKilligan of Calmar. Also fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews; as well as many friends.

Brian was predeceased by parents Art and Jean McKilligan, and brother-in-law Chip Belt.

A Celebration of Brian’s life will be held at Hoadley Evangelical Missionary Church on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Barry Klassen officiating.

A sincere thank you to Dr. Kristen Rylance and all staff of Area 3, Rimbey Care Centre for going above and beyond in providing excellent care for Brian.
