Buks Bernard Buys

It is with great sadness that the family of Buks Bernard Buys of Lacombe (formally South Africa) announce his sudden passing on the morning of 6 September 12, 2025.

He leaves behind both his parents a younger sister and a fiance all residing in South Africa.

You were more than just a son, more than a friend, more than just family.

You were a safe place,

the calm in the storm,

always ready

to lend a shoulder,

a hand,

a smile

a laugh

and a gentle hug.

Buks, your life was a gift,

and your big heart was a blessing that could never be forgotten.

May the sun rays of heaven warm your face,

and light up your beautiful eyes as you look at your Saviour,

who called you home for a greater purpose.

You will be missed,

remembered,

and forever dearly loved.

Lord, keep Buks in the palm of your hand and thank you, Lord,

for lending us his life,

to make ours better.

A Celebration of life will be held at the Farm of Ryan Vanderlinde on Tuesday September 16, 2025 at 5-8:00 pm. A small program will start at 6:00 pm.
