Cardiff Ames Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Cardiff Raymond (Ray) Ames announces his passing, after a battle with cancer on Saturday December 22, 2018 at the Ponoka General Hospital in Ponoka, AB, at the age 74 years old.

Ray will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years, Patricia; and his children Lloyd, Janelle (Chris) and Lyndsey. Ray will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Maleea, Kyle, Ryker, and Liam; his sister Marilyn (Bob) Wilkes; sister-in-law Verna Ames; as well as many other family members and friends who loved him and will miss him dearly.

Ray was predeceased by his parents Cardiff and Helen Ames; mother and father in-law John and Barbara Deg; his brother Robert Ames, his sister Beverly Nolan and brother-in-law Glen Nolan.

In memory of Ray donations may be made to the Ponoka and District Health Foundation.
