Carolle Kraemer passed away at the University of Alberta Hospital on September 23, 2024. She is survived by her sister Brenda (Dan) McKay, niece Danielle (Ryan) Braaksma and their children Brooklynn and Logan and many friends and colleagues. She was predeceased by her parents Catherine and Gordon Kraemer and her niece, Kayla McKay.
Carolle was born on October 21, 1949 in Calgary, Alberta. She attended many schools in many communities during her public education years. These experiences gave her many insights into teaching and learning. She received her Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta and taught in Fort Saskatchewan and Sherwood Park throughout her career.
Carolle was a master quilter and faithful Edmonton Oilers fan. She became very adept at researching Ancestry and made many connections with relatives on the same quest.
As per Carolle’s wishes there will not be a formal memorial service.
Donations in Carolle’s name can be made to STARS or a charity of one’s choice.
