Carolyn Logsdon Obituary

Carolyn Sue Logsdon 1943-2023, born in Woodward, Oklahoma

It is with deep sadness that we feel a great loss of our Mom, the heart of our family. Carolyn passed quietly with her children by her side after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia on Feb 16, 2023 at the age of 79, just shy of her 80th birthday.

She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her children Brett (DeDee) Logsdon, Toni (Dave) Snyder, her grandson (James), her stepchildren and their families (Lezley, Jamie, Brad), her sisters Gwyn, Louise, and Jeannie and numerous family members and dear friends.

Carolyn was known for her beautiful smile, her sense of humor and her caring nature for always wanting to help her family and friends.

She shared a love of nature with her husband Jim, and she was most at home in the mountains. She loved music. Some of her favorites were old hymns, Neil Diamond, John Denver, and The Beach Boys. It wasn’t a surprise to hear her singing to Sunshine on my Shoulders or Sweet Caroline…you might even get a dance move in there too.

As sweet as all of that sounds, she loved her sports, especially foot ball and golf, and she would surprise you with her “coaching/yelling” at the TV.

Carolyn was predeceased by her husband James “Jim” Edward Logsdon, her brothers Walter Ray “Tad”, Ronnie, RC and sisters Ruth and Betty.

Carolyn will be deeply missed and loved. She requested no service so Brett, DeDee and Toni are asking for everyone to take a moment and raise a glass of Diet Coke or a Dairy Queen Blizzard (her favs) in her memory.
