Daniel passed away on April 10, 2022, at the Red Deer Hospital at the age 72 years. Daniel was born in Camrose, Alberta on February 19, 1950, to parents, Frank and Anne Galenza. He is survived by his siblings, Doreen (Ken) Wancho, Carolyne Williams, Betty Galenza, Gennie (Bob) Wesley, Eleanor Martin and his twin brother Bob (Julie) Galenza; numerous relatives, nieces, nephews and friends.

Daniel grew up on a farm and attended school grades 1-12 at a nearby town called Bawlf. At 16 years old, Dan got his first job at a gas station pumping gas and fixing tires, which led to a lifelong career. After high school he apprenticed in motor mechanics and worked in the auto industry until his retirement.

Dan was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Anne Galenza, his infant brothers, Ronald and Leonard and his brother-in-law’s John Williams and Wayne Martin.
