Darren Doyle McKay

Darren ‘Max’ Doyle McKay of Lacombe passed away on August 2nd at the age of 63. Max is survived by his father Donald (Beulah), his siblings Dana (Logan) and Dawn (David), his daughter Alixandra (Antoniel), his good friend Katherine, and numerous extended family and an abundance of friends. Max was predeceased by his mother, Donna. Max was a man of few words who still somehow managed to have a quip ready for every occasion. He enjoyed golfing, hockey, and baseball throughout his life, almost as much as being a ‘cat dad’. Max was a private man who cared deeply about those important to him, and he will be sorely missed by all who had the chance to know him. A celebration of life will be held for Max on Sunday, September 28th from 2:00-5:00pm at the Lacombe Golf & Country Club.
