David Micheal Moroz

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Michael Moroz, who passed away on March 2, 2025, in Edmonton, Alberta, at the age of 68.

David was born on June 16, 1956, in Tisdale, Saskatchewan. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, with a deep love for dogs and horses. Though not necessarily an extrovert, David had no trouble making friends and cherished the relationships he built throughout his life.

David is survived by his two sons, Michael Moroz and Myles Moroz; his siblings Paul (Mary) Moroz, Elsie (Keith) Snider, Ann Devos, Elaine (Wayne) Martindale, and Daniel (Margaret) Moroz. He also leaves behind a large extended family and many dear friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, Mike and Tinnie Moroz; his brother, Steve Moroz; his sister, Stella Whitman; and his brother-in-law, John Devos.

In accordance with David’s wishes, no formal funeral service will be held.

David will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
