David "Dave" Lyle Hornby

Dave Hornby, of Morningside, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at the age of 71 at Northcott Care Centre, Ponoka.

He was born to the late Charles and Madge Hornby. He is lovingly survived by his daughter Alana (Mom Bev); Sister Barb (Barry); Nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

He is predeceased by his father and mother Charles and Madge Hornby, and brother, Allen. 

Dave loved getting together with family and friends. He was always willing to lend a hand with any project. His passion was art, which he had many talents.

With heavy hearts he will be sadly missed and always loved.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Fairview Cemetery in Lacombe. You are invited for a time of fellowship to the Cappis Farm in Morningside following the Graveside Service. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dave’s name to Northcott Care Centre Recreation Department, 4209 - 48 Ave, Ponoka, AB, T4J 1P4; or to an Animal rescue of one’s choice.
