Dena (Vink) Bosgra

At the Lacombe Hospital and Care Centre On August 8, 2022 after a long battle with dementia and a fall resulting in a broken hip and other complications, God called and took Dena to her heavenly home to free her from her pain.

She will surely be missed by all of her family and friends.  She was predeceased by her parents Peter and Nellie Vink and her daughter Nellie Kanngiesser.

Dena is survived by her sisters Nel Prins,  Maryke (Barry) Thull  her brothers Arie (Maureen) Vink, Peter (Jan) Vink, and George (Shirley) Vink. Also by her sons John (Caroline) Bosgra, Peter (Fay)Bosgra, Dave Bosgra, Darin Kanngiesser, her Grandchildren Dillen Bosgra (Stephanie), Karya Bosgra (Jaeger), Josh Bosgra (Mahaliah), Zack Bosgra, Lucas Bosgra (Kaili), Kyle Kanngiesser (Amie), and Riley Kanngiesser (Madison).

Dena was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her husband Len,  her children, grandchildren and their spouses who all loved her dearly and she truly loved them in return.

A Public Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Woody Nook CRC.
