Dennis Erwin Gauthier

Dennis Gauthier passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Center on May 1, 2024 at the age of 73.  Dennis is predeceased by his parents, Henry and Rosemary Gauthier.

Dennis was a man of many talents.  Early in life, Dennis had a love for all things fast, especially figure skating and race cars.  He also had quite a mechanical thumb…no challenge was too big, and you would often find him tinkering in the driveway working on cars and fixing anything he could get his hands on.  In later years, Dennis had a love for watching movies.  He was always open for sharing his screen and lending an ear.  Dennis loved a good chat and was fondly known by many of his children’s friends as Mr. G.

Dennis will be remembered and greatly missed by his wife, Donna, his sons Derek, Dwayne (Robyn), Darren (Andrea), Dennis, and by his daughter Darlene (Gabrielle).  He also leaves many fond memories with his grandchildren Iris, Jakob, Noah, Chloe and Katelynn, with another special bundle of joy on the way.  Also leaving to mourn are Dennis’ siblings Roseanne (Ron), Lea (Sig), Richard (Louise), David (Rita) and many other family members and friends in Alberta and Newfoundland.

A Celebration of Dennis's Life will be held at Wilson's Funeral Chapel, 6120 Highway 2A, Lacombe, Alberta on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 11:30 a.m.
