Dennis Clayton George

Dennis is survived by his children Randy (Mary) George of Calgary, Gary (Julie) George of Edmonton and Rob George of Okotoks, his four grandchildren Rhiannon, Riley, Jackson and Serenity, as well as his brother Murray (Jackie) George, sister Val and their families.  He was predeceased by his wife Helen, and his parents Ben and Vi George.

Born in Wetaskawin, Dennis joined the Air Force and served in Nova Scotia before returning to raise his family in Calgary.  Dennis and Helen retired to Lacombe, and spent many years enjoying small town life, and venturing on their much-loved trips which allowed them to make friends across the world.  Dennis lived his final years in Edmonton, and most recently, as a veteran, was admitted to the Capital Care Kipnes Centre. 

Dennis will be buried in Wetaskiwin.  No service is planned at this time.

Special thanks to the staff at Capital Care Kipnes Centre for their care over the past months, and ensuring Dennis received a flag ceremony after his passing early Saturday morning.
