Doloris is predeceased by her parents, Percy & Margaret McGinn ,sister Ethel , Son Rodney Wilson; Husband Wayne Wilson & her second Husband Merlin Haarstad.
Doloris was born in Red Deer, Alberta and lived on a farm with her parents and siblings east of Olds. At a young tender age, she got polio and was in the hospital for many months paralyzed to the point she was only able to speak. She was in a wheelchair for 3 years unable to walk, and over time managed to walk with crutches and with that she returned to her One Classroom country school. Doloris’s family traveled around to many places through her childhood, eventually moving to Taber where she worked at the 5 cents to a dollar store, where she met Wayne Wilson. They later married and had 5 children and lived on a farm outside of Taber. The boys were all about rodeo’s and other sports. Mom and Dad spent many hours driving around the country side to many rodeos, they had 3 Cowboys, a Jock and of course a Princess. Mom and Dad travelled a lot to the United States , they really enjoyed Reno and had Many Friends there. After 32 years of marriage, they separated, and mom later met Merlin Haarstad and spend many happy years together with him doing all sorts of travelling. They visited all 52 states in one summer. They raised/ showed appaloosa horses and she took a lot of pride in her horses for many years. Doloris enjoyed birds, fish, flowers, and later in life really enjoyed Bingo, it was the one thing she always looked forward to every week.

REST EASY MOTHER, UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN!
