Donald Bernard Boe
Sept 5th, 1927-Oct. 27th, 2018
It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
Don was born on the family farm near Bateman, Saskatchewan. In 1942 the family moved to Millet, Alberta relocating again in 1944 to the Satinwood district to farm. He lived and farmed in the Satinwood area until his passing.
Don is survived by his loving wife Ethel, his children, Norman (Cathie), Gary, Teresa (Neil Friend), Bernice (Dale Malin), and Bonnie (Roger Marcil), grandchildren, great grandchildren and sister Erlene Oslund. He is predeceased by brothers Mel & wife Lois Boe, Lawrence Boe and brother in-law Elmer Oslund.
Memorial service will be held St. Andrew’s United Church (5226-51 Ave, Lacombe) on Thursday, November 1st, 2018 at 2:00pm. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Red Deer Regional Hospital Palliative Care (3942 50A Ave, Red Deer, AB T4N 4E7) or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (202-5913 50 Ave., Red Deer, AB T4N 4C4).
