Donald John Stenerson

With much sadness the family announces that Donald Stenerson passed away in Red Deer at the age of 71 years.

Donald was born in Stettler on March 23, 1953.  He grew up on the family farm near Bashaw.  Following school, he worked on Alberta highways as a surveyor.  After this Donald worked as a driller and tool pusher in the oilfields in Australia, Russia, the Middle East as well as Alberta and others.

He is lovingly remembered by his sisters, Alice Reay, Kathy Traptow, and Linda Cameron; brother, Ken Stenerson; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Donald was predeceased by his parents, Charlie and Dorothy Stenerson; his sister, Margaret Dewald; and his brothers-in-law.

He will be greatly missed.

A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 1:30-3:00p.m. at the Lacombe Legion.
