Edward Austin Brooks

March 12th, 1935 ~ December 13, 2025

It is with great sadness the family of Edward and Margaret Brooks wishes to announce that Edward Brooks of Clive, Alberta passed away peacefully at Lacombe Hospital on December 13, 2025, at the age of 90.

Ed is survived by his loving wife Margaret, and his children: Sheldon (Linda); Sheila, Kary (Ray) and Sandra.

Grandchildren: Trevor, Greg (Sheena) and Curtis Barritt,

Jessica Brooks, Grayson and Sarah Szakacs:

Jason (Janice) and Terry (Amanda) Besuijen, Zach and Kory Brooks

Great Grandchildren: Shayla, Aaron, Faith, Matteo, Charlie and Olive Barritt; Keera (Steven) Dahl, Ella, William and Ada Besuijen; Peyton and Hailey Nowochin

Great Great Grandchildren: Henry and Isabel Dahl

Ed was predeceased by his parents Chester and Evelyn (Shobe) Brooks; brothers: Don, Clifford, Garry and Russell; sisters: Leona, Georgina, Doreen, and Audrey; Grandsons: Dylan Brooks, Chris and Kelly Besuijen.

Marg and family would like to extend a special thankyou to the Doctors and Nurses at the Lacombe Hospital.

There will be Celebraton of Ed's Life in the spring of 2026.
